The 9th Regional Level Selection Test (RLST) is scheduled to be held on 21.12.2008 (Sunday) for preparing panel of Assistant Teachers in Recognised Non-Govt. aided Jr. High / High /Higher Secondary Schools (excluding Madrasahs) in West Bengal against the vacancies available and reported as per WB School Service Commission (Selection of Persons for Appointment to the Post of
Teachers) Rules.
Eligibility : Citizens of India may apply for a single subject in Pass or in Hons. /PG Category in School (excluding Madrasah) in a particular Region only in the prescribed form available from the designated branches of United Bank of India.

The Official Gazzatte Notification of the Sixth Central Pay Commission (CPC) Recomendations has been released by the Gov’t Of India. More than Fifty Lakh Gov’t Employees, including armed forces employees and those who are getting Salary at the rate of Gov’t Salary Scale will be benefited with this enhanced pay and allowances and the full benefit will be recieved from 1 September, 2008.
Justice Sri Krishna-led Pay Commission that submitted its report to the government on March 24 this year and has been approved by the cabinet on 14th August, 2008
Earlier, the government said it will pay its 50 lakh strong workforce an additional Rs 11,000 crore over the pay hike of Rs 30,000 crore, including arrears recommended by the Sixth Pay Commission in March.
As per reliable sources, the modification of the Pay Commission award will cost an additional Rs 5,000 crore towards annual wages and Rs 6,000 crore towards arrears.

MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. Gopichand taking a lead role as a brave person who crossing over many hurdles in life and moves forward determined to reach the final target, successfully. The story line also includes in detail the real beneficiary through bravery deeds. The director is taken the narratives on consequences attractively.
Starring Gopichand and Anushka in the lead role, the venture is handled by director Siva who earlier remained as Cameraman and promoted as director by the producer V Anand on behalf of the banner 'Bhavya Creations.'
The hero is confident the film will repeat the performance as like his earlier films like 'Yagnam', 'Ranam', 'Andhrudu', 'Lakshyam'.
Shooting of the venture almost finished except 3 song sequences and 2 songs are to be filmed at Switzerland under the supervision of Choreographer Brundha from 10th of August.
Currently dubbing work is in progress.
It is expected on silver screen during second week of September.

Vishal, Nayana Tara starring Salute, directed by Rajasekhar and produced by Vikram Krishna, does not stand up to the expectations. The trailors and promo assure a good movie but the film turns out to be filled with illogical sequences, unnecessary songs and half a dozen fights. Most disappointing factor in the film is how there is no link between scenes.

Few would have bet on India winning their maiden one-day series in Sri Lanka with a game in hand, especially after they were thrashed twice in a row, first in the Asia Cup final in Pakistan and then in the opening game of this series, with their bogeyman from the Test series, Ajantha Mendis, being the tormentor on both occasions.
The difference lay in the abilities of the two batting orders to adapt. While the Indian batsmen huffed and puffed to victory in the second ODI before adjusting to post defendable totals in Colombo, their Sri Lankan counterparts repeatedly failed to cope with India's three-pronged pace attack backed up by Harbhajan Singh. The success of India's bowlers, and Sri Lanka's collective batting failure, makes the final a dead rubber.
Therefore, there isn't a lot but proverbial pride to play for on Friday. Sri Lanka have lost two of their last three series at home - against Pakistan and England - and beaten only Bangladesh so they will hope their batsmen fire them to a consolation victory. There is an incentive for some of the Indian batsmen - Virat Kohli, S Badrinath and Rohit Sharma - to produce an innings that will make it harder for them to be overlooked when Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag are available for India's next limited-overs assignment.
This series, though, has been decided and both teams will be looking forward to a break during the gap created by the absence of the Champions Trophy.

Coming to my past I say that my father was a police constable. I was born when my mother was just 16. She begot me when she was just a playing child. Hence I turned a boy as well as toy for her. I was nurtured in her lap. I was from a below middle class community. When I was 5, she carried me on one hand and carrying a vessel of water on the other at Nidadavolu. I still remember those days. I used to carry things from shop to home on my shoulders as I have no sufficient money to spend for rickshaw. I still feel that weight on my shoulders as that hasn't waned from my memory. We used to move from place to place due to his transfers. I also tasted the life of hunger in my childhood which is known only for my family members. I still remember the days when I ate just for one time a day. I still remember the days when I used to work in fields in my village. I have that experience as well. I have also tasted the time when our fields were inundated in floods. There was no time to stand in our house as well. We kept ourselves alive with 'ganji neellu' those days. And when I entered intermediate I used to go to college only with knickers. When I asked for pants my mother used to postpone that due to lack of money. I used to go to college only with knickers in shy but never questioned my mother. And when I was in Chennai I used to spend very carefully for the fear of poverty. For the first time I acted in the film 'Pranbam Khareedu' as a poor man. And in Swayam Krushi I acted a cobbler's role. And in Kondaveeti Donga I played an IAS officer who learns the problems of tribal people. I played all the roles those were close to people. My every role taught me what life is and what truth is. I know about 'GANJI as well as BENZ'. I swam in Village Lake as well as in Pacific Ocean. I have seen two extremes of life. That is the boon I got in this life.

Kindly don't climb these barricades. Please maintain poise. I told my mother, "Mom! The people are calling me to serve them". Then she said that politicians are insulting each other in politics. All these years you have been untouched by any insult. Do you really need this?"
Then I said, "The people's call is the energy for me. Abdul Kalam said that I should come into politics to serve people. He told me to work with determination and carry on a mission with vision oriented goal. He told me to go in your path by extending your helping hand. Just ignore who ever try to clutch you and hinder you".
Then my mother said, "What can you do alone?"
I said, "Even the big ocean started with a drop. In my mega journey I'm the first step and harbinger".
I take oath on this day that I never step back in my journey and move only forward. I'm here to become your servant but not leader. Our main determination is to bring glory for politics. Whoever tries to insult us, our answer for everyone is only 'service service service'. On this moment everybody is anxiously waiting to know 'what is the party, its name and its agenda'. I started a blood bank independently. I find lot of satisfaction in that. And to do that in bigger way I need a bigger platform and that is this altar. Scholars should join us and that is possible when I start a party. First, the name of the party will be declared and at last the flag will be hoisted. We are going to inaugurate the name of the party on the hands of a few among you. The goal of this party is 'samaajika nyaayam'. We work to balance the equation in this society. The inputs are required in this in big way. And coming to the party agenda, it is not the one that will be taken by me alone. It will be in democratic way. It is the party for people, born from the hearts of people, from the minds of people, for the weaker sections, for the women, for social justice, for industrial revolution, for 'Santhoshandhra Pradesh' and 'Ananda Andhra Pradesh'. I wish every one of you will stand as pillars for this entire mission.
First, the name of the party will be announced in front of you all and then the vision and mission will be proclaimed. When I go abroad, I feel why can't those standards of roads, health care and education be brought in India. I feel if God is selfish towards those people. But in actual sense, God is selfish towards us. We have ample natural resources unlike them. God never kept us low. Even the youth here is most energetic. But proper guidance is lacking to streamline all of them. Our year plans and hindrances in implementing them are the limitations here. When we fix those problems, we will be no less to any other developed country. Our party will focus in that area in big way. That is our sole strength.
I say the name of this party coming to you and close to your heart as it was born only from your heart. I know you wish the party that will be ruled by you all. Hence the party's name is '……'. Drona is the up coming bollywood film by Goldie Behl. It is considered to be one of the main movies in Abhishek Bachan’s career. In this movie Abhishek will be seen in a very different role which he has never portrayed in any film before. He will be accompanied by Priyanka Chopra in the film. The movie is scheduled to be released by the end of August.
Drona is a fictional thriller in which Abhishek Bachan will play a super hero- Drona. So after Hrithik Roshan it’s Abhishek Bachan’s turn to play Super hero on silver screen. In the movie not only Abhishek will show his action skills but the heroine- Priyanka Chopra is also in a thriller mode. In fact the actress has learnt ancient form of Sikh Martial arts- Gatka for this film. In the movie she will play Abhishek’s body guard.
Another important thing about the movie is that in this movie for the first time Jaya Bachan will play Abhishek’s mother. Though both Jaya and Abishek have worked together in Yashraj’s movie Laga Chunri Mein Daag before but in that movie Jaya played Rani Mukherjee’s mother.
This movie is in news since long due to delay in its release. The movie has completed in 2 years and now is expected to be released by the end of August.

Sri Lanka have their backs to the wall and need to win the next two to round off a victorious summer. The scenario is similar to last year's home series against England, which they conceded 3-2 after winning the first game. Since their 5-0 clean sweep against South Africa four years ago, their only bilateral series wins have come against Bangladesh. Surprisingly, their batting hasn't been up to scratch, contrary to the popular perception of their invincibility on home pitches. Mahela Jayawardene's 94 yesterday was the highest score by a Sri Lankan at home in 14 complete ODIs, after Upul Tharanga's 105 against Bangladesh in 2005. Sanath Jayasuriya and Kumar Sangakkara have yet to fire in this series, Tillakaratne Dilshan has failed to convert his starts and the persistence with Chamara Silva hasn't paid off.
Sri Lanka have just a day to get their act together and keep the series alive. They haven't ever lost two successive ODI series at home, and Jayawardene will be desperate to ensure it doesn't happen now.

Ryan Sidebottom will miss the rest of England's one-day series against South Africa because of groin trouble. Injury problems had already kept Sidebottom out of the last two Tests and the first of the five ODIs at Headingley on Friday. He has suffered a combination of hip and groin issues since the drawn first Test against South Africa in early July.
England are unlikely to call up anyone else, with Steve Harmison having already agreed to make his ODI return and Tim Bresnan also included as cover with Chris Tremlett having a heel problem. Bresnan will play for Yorkshire in their Pro40 match against Kent at Scarborough on Monday but will rejoin his team-mates ahead of Tuesday's game at Trent Bridge. He appeared in the first ODI on Friday as a substitute, taking a catch to dismiss Johan Botha.

Synopsis>>
Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam is a mad, contemporary comedy about how a small town drama company gets involved in a deadly mission to save the country.
