Sri Lanka v India 3rd & Final Test Match, Colombo

Colombo: Virender Sehwag has been running rampant at the top of the order for India, making it imperative for the Sri Lankans to formulate a plan to reign in the attacking batsman in the third and deciding Test. "Sehwag played an exceptional knock at Galle, and we have to make sure that we bowl straight and get him early in the next Test" told Sri Lankan coach Trevor Bayliss.

India's mental conditions coach Paddy Upton is confident that the Indian middle order, short of runs in the last two Tests against Sri Lanka, will come good in the deciding match, which gets underway here at the P Saravanamuttu Stadium from Friday.

Pitch & Conditions: The pitch at the P Saravanamuttu Stadium, scheduled to host the third and final Test Between India and Sri Lanka, will offer more bounce for the faster bowlers, according to Sri Lanka's national curator Anurudddha Plonowita.

"The pitch will have some bounce for the bowlers, it will be good for both fast bowlers and spinners. In the previous match at Galle, the Indian pacers bowled really well and we batted very badly in the second innings. You can't blame the pitch" Anuruddha said on Thursday.
