History is in the making as the first night race in F1 history gets underway at the new Marina Bay street circuit in Singapore. A special atmosphere will be set for the 800th Formula 1 World Championship race. The new street circuit was designed to wind around an artificially created bay. The lights from the new cityscape can’t compete with the sparks on the circuit, in the scramble for the F1 record books to claim the first Singaporean title.
